Top tips 1

Plan your trip

It’s important that you think carefully about the countries you might visit before, during and after your Sport Lived programme in Argentina. It will be easier for you to get the necessary vaccinations and medication in the UK prior to your departure than when you are travelling overseas. Vaccinations are mandatory in order to enter some South American countries and a certificate of vaccination is required for entry.

It’s also important to think about the activities you might want to undertake during your time overseas and obtain a suitable travel insurance policy. Common activities to consider include ski/snowboarding, bungee jumps, water sports, etc.

It is essential that you have travel insurance for your Sport Lived programme. We will provide contact details of recommended a travel insurance policy in your Confirmation. Most visits to Argentina are trouble free but, like any big country, sensible precautions will help ensure a stress free visit. You should keep a close eye on your personal belongings and hold on to them in public places such as internet cafes, train and bus stations where thefts can occur.
