Travel and Visa for New Zealand
If you would like to work during your time in New Zealand you will need to apply for a New Zealand Working Holiday Visa. Your New Zealand Working Holiday visa permits you to live and work in New Zealand for up to 12 months. To be eligible for a New Zealand Working Holiday Visa, you must be aged between 18-30 at the time of your application. All Working Holiday applications must be made outside of New Zealand.

If you do not wish to obtain paid employment in New Zealand and have a British passport you do not need to apply for a tourist visa. You will be eligible for a Visitor’s permit for up to 6 months.
