Play Basketball in New Zealand

We organise for people to play basketball in Christchurch and Auckland from March to August.  We also run an 8 week programme during July and August, ideal for university students or those not taking a gap year.

We have affiliations with excellent basketball clubs both Christchurch and Auckland.  Most clubs have 2-3 training sessions per week and play matches at the weekends.  The clubs offer a high standard of coaching, often from former state and international players.

Regular club social events are also organised throughout the season.

You will stay in 4 star city centre apartments.  You’ll live with people playing basketball and other sports including hockey, netball, rugby and football.  Living in the city means you’ll be near nightlife, places where you can work and close to public transport making it easy for you to get to your club for training and matches.
