Play Water Polo in Australia

Australia must be any water polo player’s dream destination as it has outstanding swimming facilities, excellent clubs and numerous world class players.  You can play water polo in all the main cities in Australia: Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.  We organise for people to play water polo for the duration of a southern hemisphere season: March to August.  We also run a 12 week programme in Brisbane between March and June and an 8 week programme in Brisbane during July and August. 

We have handpicked the best water polo clubs in each city who have excellent coaching, facilities and top social scenes.  Most clubs have between 5 and 10 senior men’s and women’s teams enabling them to accommodate players of all ability.  Some of the clubs have state and international players and teams that participate in Australia’s National Water Polo League.  This provides you with an excellent opportunity to play and train alongside some of the best players in the country. Most clubs have two training sessions and at least one match per week.  

You will stay in 4 star city centre apartments with people playing water polo and other sports including rugby, hockey, netball and swimming.  Most people stay in 2 bedroom apartments and everyone lives in the same complex providing a ready made group of friends as soon as you arrive.
